Here are some ways to tell if your kid is ready to see a live performance
of the ”Nutcracker”:
Does your child love to dance? Does he or she respond positively to other
people dancing?
Does your child like playing pretend games and make-believe?
Can your child sit quietly without breaks for two stretches of 45 minutes
while watching a television show or a movie? The first act of ”The
Nutcracker” runs about 40 minutes; the second 31 minutes, plus bows.
Is your child tall enough to see?
Does your child understand what it means to whisper?
