Our abused country. Overpopulation is going to sound the death knell to the
environment and the quality of life as we know it.
Passing Proposition 187 will send a message that we can no longer afford to
support the illegal immigrants who have swarmed in, showing little respect for
laws and values. Those who did come here legally waited patiently and took the
legal steps. They are welcome. The millions of dollars that are pumped into
the state only serve
to feed the bureaucracy. As for the threat of any plagues, we do have an
existing public health service that provides family planning and vaccination
clinics, etc.
If we do not pass Proposition 187 and draw the line now, we will be
allowing an environment to build that is exactly like the one these people are
running away from.
